This course aims to equip undergraduate students with the required skills to conduct research, and show them the effective ways of accessing and assessing print and electronic sources. During the course, students also learn to identify and develop research questions, and to express them neatly in writing. The course also aims to familiarise students with the rules of presentation (layout, referencing and works cited) for academic writing in English.
