Pharmacology of Autonomic Nervous System
On the functional basis, nervous system can be divided into two major subdivisions: autonomic and somatic. The autonomic Nervous System (ANS) regulates the automatic visceral functions such as cardiac output, blood flow to the organs and digestion. Subject of this lecture is the pharmacology of the drugs that are used to modify the effects of ANS on organs.
