BUA207 - Management and Organization
Today’s business world is complex continuously changing and an exciting place. In this course, students would
learn to appreciate these complexities and challenges. This course designed to provide students with a general
knowledge of the concepts, theories and the terminologies of business, including an overview of traditional
functions of management, build on the elements of the Organizational Theory and the Behavioral Sciences.
The learning methodology will be interactive in nature and involves analytic activities; both team and self-
directed. Each class session will be driven by your assignments and will involve discussions, debates, group
work and presentations. Emphasis on developing interpersonal communication and leadership skills for the
improvement of individual and group performances in a total organizational business environment. Since the
majority of the learning will consist from these activities, your attendance and class participation are critical to
your success in the course.
